Also one thing you need to do inside the same GPO is to add the Storefront FQDN in to the trusted sites part of the GPOġ9. Add the following ADM file in to the GPO that is applying to the machines you require storefront to work on – C:\Program Files (x86)\Citrix\ICA Client\Configuration\icaclient.adm. Install Citrix Receiver with the /includesson switch and make sure it’s the Receiver for Windows and not the Receiver web and if you require the Citrix Reciever to start automatically on start-up copy the following file C:\Program Files (x86)\Citrix\SelfServicePlugin\SelfService.exe to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup to ensure it starts for all users.ġ8. Now select Domain pass-through and click on OK.ġ7. Through Storefront we now need to enable Domain pass-through for the Store go to Authentication > Add/Remove Methods. Now getting Single Sign On to work you have to do a few additional changes to the way Citrix Receiver is installed, adding an ADM file to a GPO, running a powershell command and adding a trusted site.ġ6. NOTE : If you get the following error do the following to resolve – The Store is now created but there is still a bit to do. As this is for internal access only at the moment I won’t select anything for Remote Access but I will be added something around this at a later date. Remember to change the port to what your XenDesktop, XenApp or VDI-in-Box is currently using, Once added click next one the Delivery Controllers page.ġ4. You now need to add each delivery controller that requires to use Storefront, click on Add.ġ3. Fill the Store wizard as follows, give the Store a name and click on Nextġ2. Once finished installing the certificate, start Storefront and click on Stores > Create Store and then follow the wizard.ġ1. Once all are removed do not close the site bindings and click on Add, change the type to https and then change the SSL certificate to the new certificate you added earlier.ġ0. Once the bindings appear remove all other bindings other than the http one.ĩ. We now need to bind the new certificate to the IIS Server, you do so by clicking on Default Web Site > Bindings on the Actions pane. You should now see both the original CSR and the new certificate under the Server Certificate part of IIS manager.Ĩ. Once the Complete Certificate Request appears browse to the new certificate and give it a friendly name – I gave mine .ħ. Now you need to complete the CSR through IIS manager by clicking on Complete Certificate Request.Ħ. Save the new certificate to a location.ĥ. Fill out all of the details you require for the CSR and save it to a location, once you have finished the CSR submit it to a CA and finish that part of process. Now once Storefront is installed I found it’s best to sort out the SSL first before going any further, to do so first start IIS manager and click on the Storefront Server > Server Certificates and Create Certificate Request (CSR).Ĥ. The Storefront install is very simple and is pretty much and next, next finish install but this is the easy part.ģ. Download the Storefront software – and run the install but remember to check the requirements beforehand. Ok, so finally got around to playing with Storefront 2.0 and testing out the install and what not and my overall feeling is that is good but i can’t help but miss things like from the Web Interface like pre-populating people’s start menus using XenApp Services Sites and the Pre-Launch functionality for XenApp but Citrix are pushing this so we may as well embrace it rather than fight it!Ĭurrently this install guide is just for getting Storefront 2.0 working internally without a Netscaler but I hope to post a guide soon about this how it ties in with Netscaler and the exact steps you need – Citrix please sort out EDocs!ġ.
